Need a High Ratio of Positive Thoughts to Negative for Optimal Mental Health.
5:1 minimum.
Positive and negative emotion cannot go exist…we must actively try to supplant the negative emotion via relaxation techniques, recalling what we are grateful for, etc.
Turn suffering into a opportunity for growth; unite it to Christ.
Gratitude is Not just an Emotion, it Needs to be an Attitude.
Need to create a habit of gratitude in order to get us through the tough times.
A daily Gratitude Journal is awesome habit to develop this attitude.
